Welcome to the heart of my work—where lived experience meets leadership and storytelling becomes a strategy. Every stage I step on, every conversation I lead, and every audience I serve reflects my belief: Real-life branding is living life in purpose.

Real Life Branding is an interactive workshop designed to help youth build a personal brand grounded in character, purpose and real-life action. Rather than focusing only on social media, the workshop teaches that identity is communicated through everyday choices, relationships, leadership, creativity and service. Considering the recent landmark case in which a Los Angeles jury found Meta and Google liable in a youth social media addiction trial involving Instagram and YouTube, this workshop emphasizes the need to develop a strong offline foundation before relying on digital platforms for visibility or validation. Incorporating an art collage with their photo gave youth the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and create meaning around how they see themselves and how they imagine their future.

Leadership often is measured by results, but true leadership also is experienced through moments that go unnoticed: the first welcome, the tone of introductions and the cultural assumptions embedded in everyday interactions. This interactive session invites attendees to consider how leadership behaviors during onboarding and early team integration can significantly influence confidence, performance and long-term retention — especially for professionals from historically underrepresented backgrounds. Participants will leave with a simple tool for conducting a cultural risk assessment within their own organizations, and a renewed understanding that inclusion is not a statement — it’s a behavior.
